The Tars enjoyed an outing into deepest Cornwall, to sing at
the beautiful old church of St Ewe, All Saints.
The event was to raise funds for roof repairs, an urgent requirement as
a rain-proof roof is pretty essential in Cornwall. We sang to an appreciative audience, a full
church, and our shanties and songs of the sea made the ancient rafters
ring! A successful evening for all, as
almost £800 was raised.
